Engineers first, recruiters second
Pythonwise was founded in 2012 by software engineers who were tired of interviewing candidates who couldn't code. We built the staffing firm we wanted to hire from.
Since 2012
Our story
We started as a small Python consultancy in New York, placing developers with startups that needed to move fast. As our clients grew, so did their needs: Java systems that couldn't go down, cloud platforms, data teams, and now AI.
Today we place more than 150 engineers a year with companies across the US, and train hundreds more for the roles those companies struggle to fill. What hasn't changed is how we work: every candidate is screened by an engineer before a client sees them.
